1940 - Bofors starts using strain gages for different applications

1960 - Bofors starts using strain gages in load cells

1965 - Develops the KIS load cell (patented)

1981 - Separated to Bofors Electronic (own company)

1985 - Nobel Electronic

1998 - Launches the G3 family of instruments

2000 - Acquired by Thermo

2002 - Acquired by Vishay Intertechnology

2006 - Launches G4 “A new state of the art instrument”
